Safety Week 2023 in Action

This event was successful because we had the complete buy-in and participation of our team members. Safety is our number one core value and this event was a great opportunity to reflect on this core value and grow as a safer team.
Over 500 employees across 30 locations participated in activities together and shared conversations about care and concern for each other’s well-being and how we can continue to build connections and support each other.
Everyone participated well and we had the leadership and support from high management.
The templates, samples, and guidance from Construction Safety Week definitely made the success and ease of getting out the information to sites and team seamless. Although we do not have stats to share, I know that our staff appreciated the information that we shared.
We are looking forward to participating in 2024 and will plan/implement sooner to have a valuable full experience.
Changing it up each day. Not just speaking/giving a speech each day, but putting demonstrations and games to each day to make it interactive.
The event was successful in the fact that, as a team, we were able to reflect on our number one core value, safety. We focus on safety every day, but the Construction Safety Week events were a great opportunity to reflect, collaborate, and improve the safety on our job sites.
